Over the last few years we have tried holding Spring and/or Autumn Sales with varying degrees of success.  This year we are going for a Spring Sale at the end of May literally Saturday 31 May so it couldn’t be any closer to Summer.  We are also hoping to be able to put much more effort into the event so are preparing publicity quite early so that members can get the date fixed firmly in their diaries and have plenty of time to make/create things for the various stalls.  You can see on the poster which stalls we are planning to have so please look out for those that you can comtribute to.  Another benefit of holding the event during the warmer (hopefully) months of the year is that we can plan to use the outside space especially for the refreshments and the ever popular bacon butties but we always have the hall to fall back on in the event of rain or cold.

So please put the date in your diary and start making and creating things.
